Interior Design-Do you enjoy selecting furniture, fabrics, colors, and textures for interior spaces? Are you interested in designing your own 3D spaces? In this session taught by Interior Design Assistant Professor Rachel Lantz, students will learn the basics of using Sketchup to design and select finishes for a living space. Students will finish the week-long session with a materials board and printed room design.

Painting-Learn to paint using acrylics! In this session, taught by Assistant Professor Chase Quarterman, students will be taught the basics of acrylic painting and utilize the elements of art including value and form. Students may use their photo or select one of those provided. At the end of the week, students will have a painting suitable for framing.

Ceramics-Ever wanted to learn to make a piece of pottery? In this session taught by Associate Professor Ray Gregory, students will learn to center, throw, and shape pottery on the wheel. Surface decoration can be added to make functional pottery like coffee cups or vases. The ten best pieces will be fired and the best piece will be glazed for later pickup.

Graphic Design-Create a digital portrait using Illustrator. In this session, students will learn the tricks and tools of Adobe Illustrator to create stunning portraits. Associate professor Ben Ivey will guide students through the process during the four days giving them an unlimited number of creative options for their piece. Students will end the week with a printed and digital form of the portrait.
